Foundation
The Commonwealth Golf Club Foundation (the Foundation) was established in September 1995 to attract financial support so our Club can continue to provide members with modern playing, practice, and clubhouse facilities, and support the development of the game.
An extensive two-year Restoration Plan has provided us with an outstanding golf course which has been fully funded by the Club. But more needs to be done. Our practice and teaching facilities need to be upgraded so that teaching staff can continue to provide lessons, regardless of weather. Generally, we have ongoing capital projects to fund, and we want to expand the development programs we offer, so we can support our up and coming young players.
Delivering these last elements require additional funding, and this is where our members, through the Foundation, can make a difference.
Members can show their support in two ways – by donating today, or by leaving a bequest in their Will.
Donate Today
Members have the option to make a tax-deductible donation through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF). The ASF will issue an official receipt and allocate your donation to the Foundation. To donate to any of the Foundation’s listed projects, simply click on any of the images below.
If you would prefer to donate via cheque or via direct deposit please download this form
If a tax deduction is not required, you can donate directly to the Foundation. Please contact us at foundation@commonwealthgolf.com.au

Leave a Bequest
A bequest is a wonderful way to celebrate your connection with the Club and leave a legacy that will benefit future generations of players.
A bequest may be made to the Foundation to support the Club in general or may be applied to a particular purpose such as the Development Program, or to help fund future building and renovation projects.
The best way to arrange a bequest to the Foundation is to speak with a solicitor to create or update your Will. A solicitor can ensure that your estate is distributed in a way that meets your wishes.
Members who advise the Club of their intention to leave a bequest are welcomed as members of the Chas Lane Circle. Members enjoy an annual luncheon and are recognised on the Foundation’s virtual Honour Board.
Recognising our Supporters
To honour and thank our supporters, the Commonwealth Foundation has established a virtual Honour Board. The Honour Board features a range of levels which recognises a member’s giving over their lifetime:

Our Leaders $100,000 and above
Our Champions $50,000 and above
