Commonwealth Golf Club\u00a0actively supports women in golf through its affiliation with Golf Australia’s initiatives, dedicated programs like the Women’s Pathway Program, and a supportive club structure that includes a Women’s Development Coordinator. The club also has specific playing arrangements and hosts events to encourage female participation in the sport.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n"},{"acf_fc_layout":"split_content","text_content":"

Our Women\u2019s Pathway Program supports women who are new to golf and are looking to join as a member of our Club.<\/p>\n

Our two-stage program\u00a0consists of Step into Golf<\/strong> from February to June each year,\u00a0 and Commonwealth Connect<\/strong>\u00a0from July through to the following June.<\/p>\n

The program provides structured coaching, course access, mentorship, and a welcoming community to help participants develop their skills while enjoying club facilities at designated times.<\/p>\n

Expressions of interest for next years\u2019 program have now closed and will reopen for the 2027 intake in November 2026.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, you may wish to start your golfing journey at Commonwealth with tuition from our Women’s Golf Development Coordinator Joanna Flaherty, or any of our experienced PGA Professionals.<\/p>\n
